personally, i look down upon it if you rely on halo 3 to pay your mortage. but what are your thoughts on companies that are soleley video game movie based? this can mean roosterteeth, G4, and most recently -> machinima. I used to think that people like Xanatos and John CJG used to use machinima as their primary career but after talking with them over time, ive learned otherwise. Xanatos is just a college student and John is just a regular canadian. But like I said, your thoughts.

Why look down on them? They do what they love for a living? What is so bad about that? Machinima is not an easy thing to produce.

If they can succeed at what their doing and make thousands for it. Let them. It just shows how bad our machinimas are compared to theirs.

I know, I just get mad seeing people rely on internet videos nowadays to make their income. Like 8 year old youtube partners is a perfect example. If they were working behind the scenes, then I dont give a care. Eh

I wouldn't never rely on Machinima to pay anything that big. Maybe for gas or computer equipment or some video games or something like that. Something small.

Most of the big names don't actually make as much money as you think. 90% of the big guys all have full time jobs and just do it for extra cash on the side.
